He exposes his inner self just so he can get a glimpse beneath that outer shell of her being. But to no avail. He tries countless times to find the piece to make this puzzle which he calls life whole. But to no avail. His heart bleeds at the slightest thoughts of past flings and crushes. And with each drop of blood lost, so is his believe in that fickle mistress.

Il essaie des temps innombrables pour trouver le morceau pour faire cette énigme qu'il appelle l'ensemble de vie. Mais sans résultat. Son coeur saigne aux pensées les plus insignifiantes de coups et aux bousculades passées. Et avec chaque baisse de sang perdu, donc est le sien croit en cette maîtresse inconstante.

Explanation:
Not my best poem but it gets to the point. The meaning behind this is one is basically the feel after being so close to love but at the last moment it all goes to hell. You start off with the best intentions in all your conquest but yet can't seem to grasp love. I chose red for the background because red is often associated with love. I originally chose to right my poem in French because I thought it would be cool, but then I realized that French was also known as the "Language of Love". I chose to paint myself nude (somewhat) to express the feeling of having to expose yourself to obtain love.
I dedicate this painting to all those who didn't have a mutal feeling.
